Podcast - A Conversation About Resilience, Friendship, and “The Independents” on Word of Mom Radio

Word of Mom Radio & Antoinette H. Jones Podcast Interview

I recently had the pleasure of joining Dori DeCarlo on Word of Mom Radio. What a conversation it was! We discussed my book, The Independents, and the themes so close to my heart—resilience, transition, and friendship. There were lots of laughs along the way, and I walked away feeling grateful for spaces like Word of Mom Radio, where women can share their stories and inspire one another.

One of the things I love most about The Independents is that it highlights the challenges and triumphs of kids finding their way in a changing world. Whether it's navigating new friendships, facing personal struggles, or learning to stand on their own, these experiences resonate with so many of us—no matter our age.

Dori and Word of Mom Radio deserve a huge thank you for shining a light on women who are out here working hard, creating, and chasing their dreams. I invite you to listen to the full interview here and let me know what you think!

Have you ever had a significant transition in your life where resilience and friendship made all the difference? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

✨ Let’s keep the conversation going. ✨
